Emily Harman is a queer Minnesotan poet currently based in the coastal and inland Northwest. The recipient of the 2026 Merriam-Frontier award, her work appears or is forthcoming in Shō Poetry Journal, Fugue, Bellingham Review, The Shore, Poetry Northwest, and elsewhere. Emily is an MFA candidate in poetry at the University of Montana, where she teaches creative writing and serves as Poetry Editor for CutBank. She can usually be found outside.
